To create a new Google group go to your Google Groups page: https://groups.google.com

1. From the Home screen, click on the Create group button. The Create a group page is displayed.
2. Describe the group. 
3. Select a group type. 
4. Set basic permissions. 
5. Click the Create group button. The group is created.
